FGEN news round-up - September 2025
See a round-up of the Company's news, events, projects and initiatives in September 2025.

In September FGEN featured in PA Future, during which Investment Manager Ed Mountney discussed the future of environmental infrastructure and the critical role that private capital plays in accelerating the energy transition. He highlighted three core assets within our portfolio:
· CNG Fuels – Europe’s largest supplier of 100% renewable biomethane for the HGV transport sector.
· A 2.4-hectare glasshouse powered by excess heat from an adjacent anaerobic digestion plant.
· A land-based aquaculture facility in Norway producing up to 8,000 tonnes of trout annually.

In September we held our annual AGM, during which all resolutions were voted in line with the Board’s recommendations. This included a significant majority of shareholders voting in favour of the fund’s continuation, reflecting the strong support for the team’s strategy and efforts to narrow the share price discount.
Ed Warner, Chair of FGEN, said:
"On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank shareholders who have again demonstrated their strong support for the continuation of FGEN. We believe this outcome reflects investor confidence in the strength of our strategy and our commitment to narrowing the share price discount relative to net asset value.
"We recognise the challenges the sector continues to face and acknowledge that a minority of shareholders voted for the discontinuation of the Company. We take this feedback seriously and, together with our Investment Manager, we remain committed to constructive engagement with shareholders.
"We remain firmly focused on narrowing the discount and managing the portfolio to deliver sustainable long-term returns for our shareholders."
