Pension schemes will now have the confidence to invest in investment 
companies to meet their Mansion House commitments and be assured that those investments will count towards any future requirement to invest in private markets. Under Clause 40 – the “mandation” clause – pensions will be able to meet the government’s requirements to invest in private assets through allocations to investment trusts in sectors such as infrastructure.

This development reinforces FGEN’s role as a trusted conduit for pension capital and an attractive, listed gateway to private markets for investors.
