Investment Manager Charlie Wright spoke to Matthew Partridge of Money Week about the benefits of investing in infrastructure, as it marks “a haven of stable growth amid market turmoil”.

Charlie highlighted how it is imperative for sustainability to extend beyond digital infrastructure, and stated that “It has become clear over the past decade that you also need to update grid infrastructure in order to reflect the new model of energy production”. To highlight this issue, the International Energy Agency estimated that around 1,500 GW of renewables projects were waiting to be connected to the grid.
